Action in the district court for Ramsey county for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff when the streetcar on which she was a passenger, owned by defendant St. Paul City Railway Company and operated by its motorman, defendant Frank B. Whisler, collided with a truck owned by defendant W. H. Biscoe, individually and d.b.a. Biscoe Transfer Company, and operated by defendant Robert Biscoe. The case was tried before Robert v. Rensch, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict for plaintiff for $6,209. Defendants W. H. Biscoe, individually and d.b.a. Biscoe Transfer Company, and Robert Biscoe appealed from an order denying their alternative motion for judgment or a new trial and from an order granting the other defendants judgment notwithstanding the verdict upon their alternative motion for judgment or a new trial. Plaintiff also appealed from the latter order.
