The petitioner-appellant, Everett Osborne, Jr., is before this Court appealing from the denial of this petition for post-conviction relief. He was charged initially with kidnapping, Ind. Code Â§ 35-1-55-1 (Burns 1975) and armed felony (robbery), Ind. Code Â§ 35-12-1-1 (Burns 1975). Appellant was found guilty by a jury. He received a life sentence and a fifteen-year consecutive term of imprisonment. His convictions were affirmed on direct appeal in Osborne v. State (1978), 268 Ind. 392, 375 N.E.2d 1094.
