in an automobile owned and operated by plaintiff Everett Mathews, which first collided with an automobile owned and operated
by defendant Rodney Newton Mills and was then struck by an automobile owned and operated by defendant Harriet D. Colburn;
and for personal injuries, property damage, and consequential damages allegedly sustained by plaintiff Everett Mathews. The
case was tried before John F. Thoreen, Judge, and a jury, and on the basis of a special verdict, the court found that plaintiffs
